Welcome to Aggravation Place, a blog centred around music & culture and unashamedly rooted in the 60's, but giving a respecting nod of the head to all around that's cool. And don't be misled by the title, it's  taken from a great song by early 70's power poppers, The Jook (pronounced Duke) who featured among their number drummer Chris Townson, previously of John's Children. Nearly 40 years on, the song seems fitting in todays climate of cutbacks and job losses but like all good music it can lift and inspire.
